🌿 Whimsy & Wards Policies
At Whimsy & Wards, each piece is created with care, intention, and respect for the craft. To ensure clarity, fairness, and a smooth experience for all, please review the following policies before placing an order.
1. Custom Orders
Personalized Creations
I specialize in custom, one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to your vision. Please provide clear and detailed instructions at the time of inquiry, along with any required materials (such as personal photographs, names, dates, or symbolic requests).
Approval Process
When applicable, design previews or confirmations will be provided prior to final production. Once approval is given:
- The design is considered finalized
- Any additional changes requested afterward may result in added fees and extended creation time
Lead Time
Custom orders typically require 2–4 weeks, depending on complexity and materials.
Rush orders may be available for an additional fee and must be discussed and approved prior to purchase.
2. Payment & Pricing
Payment in Full
- All custom orders must be paid in full upfront to secure materials and production time
- All ready-made items must be paid in full before shipment
Pricing & Quotes
- Prices may change due to material costs or availability
- Custom quotes are valid for 7 days from issuance
- After 7 days, a new inquiry and quote are required
Cancellations During Creation
If a custom order is canceled after work has begun:
- A maximum of 50% of the total payment may be refunded
- This accounts for time, labor, and materials already invested
3. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping Responsibility
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are calculated at checkout or included in custom invoices.
Processing & Delivery Times
- Ready-made items ship within 5–7 business days
- Custom orders follow the stated lead times
- Delivery times depend on the carrier and destination
All orders are packed carefully and intentionally.
Address Accuracy
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Whimsy & Wards is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
Carrier Issues
Once a package has shipped, Whimsy & Wards is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by the carrier. However, I will assist with filing claims when applicable.
4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
All Sales Final
Due to the handmade and personalized nature of my work, all sales are final, including custom and ready-made items.
Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged due to craftsmanship (not shipping-related):
- Contact me within 48 hours of delivery
- Include clear photos for review
Resolutions (replacement, repair, or refund) are offered at my discretion.
5. Materials & Care
Natural Materials
Many pieces include dried, artificial, or homegrown herbs, flowers, and natural elements. These materials are delicate and may be affected by moisture, heat, or prolonged sunlight.
- Handle with care
- Review product descriptions for material listings
- Be mindful of allergies before purchasing
Resin Art
Resin pieces are durable but not indestructible.
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth
- Avoid harsh chemicals, heat, and prolonged sun exposure
Minor imperfections may occur as part of the handmade process and do not constitute defects.
6. Intention & Spiritual Products
Symbolism & Personal Use
Candles, intention tools, frames, resin art, and spiritual items are created for symbolic and personal use only. Outcomes are not guaranteed and may vary based on individual belief and practice.
Custom Requests & Ethical Boundaries
Some items may incorporate herbs, ashes, soil, or other materials at the buyer’s request. By purchasing, you acknowledge that:
- These items are tools, not guarantees
- Use is solely the responsibility of the buyer
Whimsy & Wards reserves the right to refuse any request or commission deemed harmful, unsafe, or ethically misaligned, at my sole discretion.
Once an item leaves my studio, I am not responsible for how it is used.
My work is rooted in intention, creativity, and respect — always created in the spirit of light, care, and meaningful craftsmanship.
7. Tarot & Spiritual Services Policy
Purpose of Tarot Readings
Tarot readings are offered for spiritual insight, reflection, and entertainment purposes only.
They are not a substitute for:
- Medical or mental health care
- Legal advice
- Financial or investment guidance
You remain fully responsible for your choices and actions.
Relationship & Third-Party Boundaries
Tarot readings:
- Focus on your energy, perspective, and growth
- Do not intrude upon another person’s private thoughts, intentions, or actions
- Will not be used to manipulate, control, or override free will
Relationship questions may be reframed to support:
- Personal clarity
- Emotional well-being
- Communication and boundary awareness
Rather than predicting or influencing another person’s behavior.
Additional Tarot Restrictions
Whimsy & Wards does not offer readings regarding:
- Pregnancy, fertility, death, or health diagnoses
- Legal cases or criminal matters
- Gambling, investments, or stock predictions
- Harmful, obsessive, or dependency-based questions
Tarot services are available to clients 18 years or older only.
Tarot Refund Policy
Due to the personalized nature of tarot readings:
- Readings are non-refundable once delivered
- Cancellations are only accepted before the reading has begun
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without contacting Whimsy & Wards first violates these policies.
Please reach out directly so concerns can be addressed fairly and respectfully.
9. Force Majeure
Whimsy & Wards is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply shortages, postal disruptions, or illness.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, concepts, artwork, written content, and original ideas remain the intellectual property of Whimsy & Wards LLC.
You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute designs without written permission.
11. Communication & Conduct
Respectful Communication
I value kind, respectful communication. Harassment, coercion, or abusive behavior may result in refusal of service or cancellation of future orders.
